

Professor Roger K. Koudé was part of a delegation that was granted an audience with the Prime Minister of Chad, Ambassador Allah-Maye Halina. The delegation came to present a report of the Youth Connect Sahel 2025 Forum, which took place from October 13 to 25 in N’Djamena.
The Youth Connect Sahel Forum aims to empower young leaders and develop their talents for a better future across the Sahel region.
The successful 2025 Forum generated a set of have actionable recommendations, developed in an inclusive and participatory manner, with strong involvement from the youth themselves.
The meeting with the Prime minister of Chad took place in the presence of the Minister in charge of Youth and Sports, Maide Hamit Lony, as well and other government officials.
This important meeting demonstrates the important and impactful work that Chairs in our Network are undertaking.
Professor K. Koudé is the Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair of Memory, Cultures and Interculturalism (Chaire Unesco « Mémoire, Cultures et Interculturalité ») at Lyon Catholic University, and is a member of the IDIU Network.
