The UNESCO Chair Mémoire, Cultures et Interculturalité (Memory, Cultures and Interculturality), Professor Roger Koude, recently launched the ‘Denis Mukwege Program: Training of Trainers in Human Rights and Culture of Peace’. Named after Nobel Peace Prize 2018 recipient Dr Denis Mukwege, the program which will provide training with the aim building the capacity of grassroots actors in the field of human rights and culture of peace.

Professor Koude hopes that this program, which will take place from 2019 to 2020, will actively contribute to the strengthening the capacities of those actively working within the fields of human rights and peace building.
