Published by the Presses de l’Université de St Joseph – under the direction of Professor Antoine Messarra, UNESCO Chair in Comparative Religious Studies, Mediation and Dialogue (Lebanon) – this new publication provides a fundamental, in-depth interdisciplinary contribution and Arab and comparative perspective, for the study of religious and cultural pluralism and its arrangements for ensuring coexistence, participation and equality.

The book is the result of papers and contributions to international and national conferences in Arab, European and Lebanese countries and is characterised by the return to fundamental principles which, in essence, reconcile the legal tradition, drawn from the Arab and Muslim heritage of legal pluralism, and the normative requirements of regulation.

Professor Messarra’s latest publication can be purchased on-line.
