In the context of the “International Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures” (2013-2022) and the “Nelson Mandela Decade for Peace” (2019-2028), instituted by the United Nations, it makes sense to return to one of the important parts of the fight against the remaining apartheid still very little mentioned, by the way. This is the sung resistance, in other words, songs of resistance to apartheid in South Africa, from institutionalization in 1948 of this system until its abolition in 1994. When we talk about the fight against apartheid, which will remain one of the worst crimes against humanity during the twentieth century, we generally refer to the traditionally known forms of resistance.
