This Seminar will be held online with simultaneous interpretation in English and French,
This Seminar will focus on some the key themes addressed in Chapter 3 of the draft Pact for the Future, including capacity development; the right to science; gender equality; traditional and local knowledge; and international cooperation. Particular attention will be given to the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, an international framework for open science policy and practice that aims to reduce the technological and knowledge divides between and within countries.
